Cashmere care

Always follow the care instructions on the product label first. The following is general guidance for caring for cashmere garments.

Washing

If the label permits washing, use a gentle detergent suitable for cashmere and handle the garment carefully. Avoid vigorous rubbing, wringing and sudden temperature changes. Do not assume every product is machine washable.

Drying and keeping its shape

Gently absorb excess water with a clean towel, reshape the garment and lay it flat to dry. Hanging a wet garment can cause stretching. Keep it away from direct heat and strong sunlight.

Removing pilling

Small fibre pills can develop in areas exposed to friction. Use a cashmere comb or suitable tool gently, following its instructions, and test on a hidden area first. Do not pull fibres forcefully.

Storage

Fold clean, completely dry garments and store them in a dry, ventilated place. Protect garments from insects during longer storage, and check both the garments and storage area from time to time.

Care requirements vary with each product’s composition and construction. If you are unsure, follow the label and consult a specialist service or our team.
